Guild Meeting 2010/01

Hi Ladies,

Happy New Year and just a friendly reminder that our next business meeting is Monday January 11th at 6:30 PM.  We have the pleasure of welcoming Patty Wheeler who organizes the trips to Juarez Mexico.  As you remember, last year we helped to sponsor some of our youth for this worthy organization.

We also have all the fair information complete and we are ready to report the results. Below this note are the November meeting minutes for your review

See you Monday!

Just a few notes:

 Our annual Christmas potluck will start on Tuesday 12/8 with the 5:30PM Mass for the Immaculate Conception. Please feel free to bring the dish you prepared downstairs prior to Mass.

 We have a member who is allergic to garlic. If you know that none of your ingredients contain garlic, please let us know. No need to change you recipe, just let us know.
 Please label any containers you want back with your name. It also would be helpful if you label what the dish is.
 Tickets for the Holiday Stroll raffle baskets will be available at the supper. The drawing will be after the dinner.
 If you have not RSVP’d please call Denise 878-4247 and leave a message with the number attending and what dish you will bring.

See you tomorrow!

Holiday Stroll final 2009

Hello Ladies,

You ladies never cease to amaze us. What a wonderful day we had. The room was beautiful and what a fantastic group of talented ladies! We had beautiful music and decor, a raffle to be proud of, plentiful baked goods, a terrific café and the crafted goods were beautiful. Thanks to everyone for your contributions to make this a successful day. Also, thanks to the men who made the setup and breakdown a lot easier. We appreciate you also! The numbers are trickling in and it looks like we did even better than last year. We will have more news on that after Thanksgiving. Check out the blog for pictures in the next week.

Helen is looking for some ladies to sell raffle tickets after the next two weekend Masses. If you think you could help out (it takes about 20 minutes or less) than email hlimina@ems.com If you would rather call, Beth 588-2076 can collect messages and forward to Helen.

Thank you and have a Happy Thanksgiving. If you are traveling for Thanksgiving, we wish you a safe trip.

Best Regards,
Denise & Beth
