Treasurer’s Report

Beth distributed a detailed report categorizing Guild expenses and income relating to business, fair, donations, events and receptions, with specific indications regarding money spent, remaining amounts, projected amounts and variances for the 2015/16 budget. The current checkbook balance is $8752.32

Beth announced that the Guild has $6000 that can be used at the Guild’s discretion toward charities and/or toward Guild interests.  Three suggestions were offered to the Guild of ways to spend down the $6000.

1.    $3000 to build a composite roll-up enclosure for the kitchen Passthrough.
2.    Candlesticks for the Tabernacle -  $1500
3.    Matching Chasubles for Msgr. Gerry and Deacon Dennis $3000
4.    Donation toward a summer Jamaican Outreach Program (providing free health exams for school children)

After much discussion it was decided by the attending Guild members to allocate $3000 toward the Passthrough and give $1000 toward the Jamaican Outreach Program, with the remaining balance to be set aside, with a possible portion designated toward new Chasubles.
